- Support micro-architecture development in collaboration with chip architects by conducting feasibility studies
- Coordinate with various design engineering teams (system, digital, analog, photonics) to establish electrical requirements
- Design analog/mixed-signal blocks focusing on transceivers (TIA, TX Driver) and broadband circuits that interact with silicon photonics elements
- Record design simulations and verifications for formal design reviews
- Manage block-level floorplan, mask design views, and reviews
- Conduct post-layout and mixed-signal top-level simulations to confirm integration
- Define test plans for production and bench-level testing
- Evaluate circuit performance in the laboratory
- MS degree with 8+ years of industry experience, OR Ph.D. with 5+ years of industry experience specializing in optical or wireline transceiver design
- Experience in designing Analog-Front-End blocks such as trans-impedance amplifiers (TIA) and Tx Driver
- Knowledge of Tx/Rx equalization techniques and circuits
- Experience with interfacing silicon photonic Mach-Zehnder modulators is a bonus
- Understanding of SERDES architectures and implementations
- Familiarity with CMOS device characteristics, noise, mismatch, linearity, and design trade-offs
- Proficiency with Cadence Design Environment
- Familiarity with 3D Electro-Magnetic (EM) simulation tools is beneficial
- Experience in testing and validating high-speed analog/mixed-signal circuits
- Demonstrated success in delivering analog/mixed-signal IPs with first-time success while adhering to tight schedules

As a member of our analog team, you will play a crucial role in designing the world's first photonic computers.
