Plant Human Resources Specialist Opportunity

My client supplies the most demanding automotive OEMs in the world and are growing in every market in the world. This opportunity is in Jackson. TN.

Job Description
This person will be expected to perform complex and routine administrative, technical, and professional HR functions including policies, programs, and team member relations. This HR role functions in Benefits, Compensation, Employment/Recruitment, HRIS, Payroll, Staffing, and Team Member Relations. Other duties may include supporting assistance to Safety, Security, and Training functions. Other key job functions include:

Ensuring fair and consistent treatment of team member conflicts or corrective actions

• Ensure that HR policies, practices, and procedures are properly and consistently administered.

• Assist in the administration of compensation and benefit programs and other team member services.

• Use HRIS system for managing HR information and measurement/reporting systems.

• Support team member communications and recognition activities

• Assist with employment and recruitment processes for filling hourly and salaried positions.

• Prepare and assist with personnel administration activities.

• Coordinate employment and administration of temporary team members.

Job Qualifications
The key job requirements and/or experience required for the position:

BA/BS degree is required, and HR or Business Administration degree is preferred
PHR and SPHR designation is preferred.
4-years HR experience and 2-years in fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred.
Must be bilingual (Spanish)
Strong interpersonal skills in a consensus culture is important.
Participating or leading continuous improvement events/projects.
Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Strong Microsoft Office skills are required. Experience with Oracle, Halogen and Kronos experience preferred.

Compensation/Benefits
The base compensation is dependent on the individual and skills they bring to the job. The targeted compensation depends on experience, but the targeted compensation is $75,000 - $85,000. The benefit program that includes company paid medical and a host of other benefits. Relocation assistance is available for this position.
