    Description:

    The Nurse Assistant (NA) is a vital part of the healthcare team at MercyOne Dubuque/Dyersville Medical Center. NAs provide patient care under the direct supervision of registered nurses, ensuring holistic support for patients' daily living activities and addressing their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Assist in patient management.
    • Provide physical, emotional, and spiritual care.
    • Record vital signs and other relevant information.
    • Maintain a safe and organized environment.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Requirements for Nurse Assistants:

    • Must be at least 17 years of age.
    • Show proof of meeting specific certification criteria.
    • High school diploma or GED preferred.

    Employee must be able to meet physical demands and work under fluctuating conditions. Job may involve exposure to various hazards and requires attention to detail and health directives compliance.
