- Handle assessment screenings and admission of patients to services
- Identify individuals who meet program criteria and will benefit from services offered
- Serve as a clinical practitioner, educator, advocate, consultant, facilitator, negotiator, and collaborator
- Assist with promoting and marketing programs and services
- Utilize resources available for assessing regulations and the parameters of third-party reimbursement
- Provide an understanding of the insurance and managed care arenas to help educate others
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Hawaii
- Current BLS certification
- Valid State of Hawaii driver's license
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong assessment, analysis, and decision-making skills
- Effective time management skills
