    Job Overview

    A Senior Web Developer is needed to collaborate with our web team and contribute to the development and maintenance of cutting-edge systems, enhancing user experience when purchasing and utilizing our software.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide technical guidance and leadership to the development team, fostering a culture of excellence.
    • Design and architect scalable solutions that balance performance and functionality.
    • Identify and address technical debt and architectural deficiencies, ensuring seamless system operation.
    • Evaluate and recommend innovative technologies and tools to optimize development processes.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and timelines, ensuring mutual understanding.
    • Create, review, and approve technical designs and implementations, guaranteeing high-quality deliverables.
    • Act as a subject matter expert, offering insights and recommendations on web development best practices, driving innovation.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Demonstrate ability to take technical ownership of projects or large features on complex projects.
    • 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer in a work environment.
    • 3+ years of experience with Laravel/Django/Rails in a work environment.
    • 2+ years of application design/architecture experience.
    • Advanced knowledge of React/JavaScript/TypeScript/HTML/CSS.
    • Advanced knowledge of database architecture and design.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail.
    • Must be able to work Eastern Standard Time hours of 9am to 5pm.

    Nice to Haves

    • Experience working in an agile environment, with a deep understanding of Renewed Vision Products (ProPresenter, PVP, ProVideoServer, Scoreboard) used in production environments.
    • DevOps experience.
