    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shift Leader to join our team at La La Land Kind Cafe As the Shift Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our coffee shop by providing excellent customer service, managing shifts effectively, and leading our team to success.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Customer Service Excellence:

    Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing a welcoming atmosphere.

    Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.

    Train and mentor staff on customer service best practices, ensuring consistency in service quality.

    2. Shift Management

    Oversee daily operations during assigned shifts, including opening and closing procedures.

    Create shift schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand.

    Delegate tasks to staff members, monitoring their performance to ensure efficiency and adherence to standards.

    3. Team Leadership:

    Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.

    Motivate and inspire team members to achieve their best performance.

    Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration.

    4. Inventory Management:

    Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, supplies, and other items, placing orders as needed.

    Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.

    Minimize waste and optimize inventory turnover to maximize profitability.

    5. Quality Control:

    Ensure that all beverages and food items meet our quality standards.

    Train staff on proper preparation techniques and recipe adherence.

    Conduct regular quality inspections to maintain consistency and uphold our brand reputation.

    Requirements:

    Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a coffee shop or similar environment.

    Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing issues.

    Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

    Basic math skills and familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., POS systems).

    A passion for coffee and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
