Job summary

We are looking for a Community Day Services Manager who will work alongside the Community Day Services Staff in providing an enriching, engaging and safe environment for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities who participate in the HSS Community Day Services Program.

The Community Day Services Manager is responsible for the Community Day Services Program. The CDS Manager is also responsible for monitoring of the service plan/implementation strategy for the clients in the Community Day Sevices Programme.

This position will oversee client transportation to programme events,

The CDS manager will promote self-advocacy and self-determination of people served.

, meet with Vice President monthly fo administrative planning orientate new clients documenting all such orientation serve as liaison wiht residential staff develop implementation strategies including assessments planning coordination facilitating plaing meeting collaboration QIDP's particiate staffing/person centered plan assigned clients make referrals on behalf of assigned clients appropriate resources serve advocate fo rclients other community resource provide supports services accordance wth client strength talents interests spend significant portion time working with cients direct care sta ff demonstrating goal/outcome implemenation gathering input devloping future cliet goals/outcomes write monthly progress notes goals/outcomes assinged clients head coach Special Olympics activities CDSP attend coaches meetings Special Olympics events competitions complete duties necessary or related successfull completion stated posotion dutiies mutually agreed perfom routine office activites driving lifting pounds answering phones operating computer particiapte Person Centered Planning Facilitation training regulary hire supervise orient ate evaluate discipline community day staff perform monthy evaluations subsequent annaul evaluatons coordinat staff meetings attenf otter stff meeitngs assign ed Clinical Safety Committee Managers Meeting Human Rights All Staf
