As the Senior Business Development Director, you will drive the growth of client relationships and business ventures within the East Coast Federal Government market.
Your role will involve crafting and spearheading account and business strategies to expand BSI's imprint within key federal clients.Under the guidance of BSI's President and working closely with our Business Strategy Team, you will lead significant strategic pursuits, drive solution development, find/create teaming relationships, and work closely with the Director of Corporate Brand Development, Marketing, and Proposals to respond to customer solicitations for new business and develop marketing strategies.
Flexibility for travel, up to 50%, is required to engage with key customers or partners as necessary.Stay informed about overarching business trends, especially the prevailing business landscape encompassing customer budgets, policies, and priority shifts.
Define and execute long-term business strategies.
Develop and oversee a multiyear, $250+ million-dollar quality pipeline.
Work closely with the Director of Corporate Brand Development, Marketing, and Proposals to create direct marketing initiatives to establish and nurture enduring relationships with key client stakeholders.
Identify potential federal clients and devise sales strategies accordingly.Address and cater to the needs and objectives of potential clients by effectively communicating and showcasing BSI's capabilities.
Supervise the development of pricing structures and other contract terms and conditions.
Engage in contract negotiations, including confidentiality agreements and joint venture agreements.
Act as a benefactor during project execution phases.

We are searching for a dynamic senior business development leader with a solid federal network and a proven track record of successfully leading and closing $50M+ opportunities.
As the Senior Business Development Director, you will spearhead the cultivation of client relationships and business ventures within the federal market.
Your responsibilities will include developing and executing account and business strategies to strengthen BSI's presence in key federal organizations.These solutions assist our clients in mitigating both existing and emerging threats, safeguarding lives, and ensuring the seamless operation of critical assets, capabilities, facilities, infrastructure, processes, and systems.
This position is part of our Federal Strategic team.Our Federal Strategy segment delivers solutions to our federal clients that ensure the success of national missions. Preferred Education / Experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering or business (or equivalent)
20+ years of diversified experience, primarily within the business development realm of a large, multinational company or former high-ranking military personnel, is required.
