Reports to: VP of Strategic Finance

Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead the company's overall financial strategy aligned with business objectives, focusing on operational excellence and financial performance.
• Work closely with senior leadership to identify key financial opportunities and risks, providing strategic recommendations to drive business growth.
• Lead financial modeling to support decision-making across the organization.
• Drive M&A activities, including evaluation of potential acquisitions, financial due diligence, and post-merger integration planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between financial strategies and business operations.
• Solve complex financial challenges that do not have well-defined solutions, leveraging analytical skills and industry expertise (across healthcare and/or investment banking).
• Provide insights and recommendations on capital allocation, investment opportunities, and risk management strategies.
• Monitor financial performance metrics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field from a prestigious institution. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in strategic finance, investment banking, and healthcare startup environments.
• Strong background in mergers and acquisitions, including deal structuring, due diligence, and integration planning.
• Demonstrated ability to work across different finance and business functions, driving collaboration and alignment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on long-term value creation and sustainable growth.
