    Description
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Obtains daily Housekeeping Report from the front desk for list of vacant cabins which need to be cleaned immediately and prospective check outs to prepare work assignments.
    • Bring golf carts to housekeeping area of the lodge and prepare for the check outs and check ins on the Daily Housekeeping Report.
    • Check the linen closet for linens needed for the day. Make sure to mark any "reject" linen on the Mission Linen Sheet for credit.
    • Advises front desk staff of cabins ready for occupancy.
    • Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies.
    • Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, and takes corrective action.
    • Examines cabins to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment, and makes recommendations to management.
    • Conducts orientation training of new employees to explain company policies, housekeeping work procedures, and to demonstrate use and maintenance of equipment.
    • Attends training to perfect housekeeping techniques and procedures, and enhance skills.
    • Attends periodic staff meetings with other department heads to discuss company policies and guest feedback, and to make recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation.
    • Regular attendance is required
    • All other duties as assigned.
