Were partnered with a growingMental Health Outpatient Treatment Centerin Queens to find aFull-Time Medical Director (Psychiatrist)

This organization has been around for over 70 years and is rapidly expanding programs and services to the high-risk community in Queens.

Were on the hunt for a passionatePsychiatristwith a heart for the underserved and a thirst to make a difference. This role will involve bothsupervision/administrative duties and clinical work (seeing patients).

As theMedical Director,youll serve as the Clinical Leader overseeing a total staff of around 35 including 5 NPs and 2 Psychiatrists. Youll oversee all programs (Mental Health, SUD, Adolescent etc.) approving treatment plans, charting and documentation, and prescription medications.

Requirements:

• BC in Psychiatry
• Knowledge of Article 31 clinics/OMH Requirements
• Knowledge of Mental Health Diagnoses (including schizophrenia, bipolar, acute psychosis)
• Knowledge of SUD treatment and MAT
• Experience with children/adolescents as well as adult population
