    Job Description
    Linke Resources is recruiting for a Crisis Specialist for one of its Residential Programs with our largest client located in Exton, PA. It is the responsibility of the Crisis Specialist to conduct crisis intervention and stabilization services in a sub-acute residential treatment setting, including assessments,
    treatment planning, aftercare planning, case management, as well as individual and group therapy.
    PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION(S):

    • Possess knowledge of all laws, regulations, contractual requirements, and agency policies and procedures governing the services performed.

    • Provides training to staff as identified by the Clinical Coordinator or Director.

    • Complete Biopsychosocial Assessments on new clients.

    • Acts as the clinical lead of the program during their designated shift.

    • Possess knowledge of and the ability to follow agency policies and procedures to carry out the care and treatment of clients.

    • Implement clinical crisis service goals consistent with overall agency goals and policy/procedures.

    • Report to direct supervisor and other administrative staff as required, in a timely and comprehensive manner.

    • Maintain personal compliance with all required training requirements and personnel documentation standards.

    • Complete all personally required trainings as per the Professional Development Plan.

    • Submit to Human Resources promptly copies of all required documentation regarding

    • degree, licenses, certifications, clearances and formal training.

    • Submit timely and accurate payroll and billing documentation.

    • Possess knowledge of the standards and ethical principles of the practice of behavioral health services, including crisis stabilization.

    • Possess knowledge of the standards and ethical principles of the best practice of behavioral healthcare relevant to the Crisis Residential Program.

    • Possess knowledge of the principles and methods of crisis intervention and stabilization services in a residential treatment setting.

    • Possess knowledge of generic and specialized community resources available to residents of the Crisis Residential Program.

    • Provide the full provision of clinically indicated services.

    • Provide quality services based on established best practice principles of care.

    • Maintain effectiveness in providing all authorized services.

    • Conduct appropriate aftercare follow-up contacts.

    • Maintain quality documentation of clinical service delivery.

    • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation, including but not limited to progress notes, treatment plans, risk assessments, safety plans and
    discharge summaries.

    • Provide all supporting documentation required for insurance authorization promptly.

    • Participate in both internal and external multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.

    • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with program residents, their families, payers, behavioral health providers, including case management
    and ACT Teams, MCO care managers, and other local county and community partners.

    • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with local police, EMS, and Emergency Departments.

    • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team to develop internal systems to improve or ensure quality services.

    • Prepare clear and concise reports and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

    • Assist with conducting training and shadowing of new hires.
    REQUIREMENTS:
    Minimum Experience and/or Education:

    • Master's Degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation, activity therapies, counseling, education or related fields and three (3) years of mental health
    direct care experience.

    • Bachelor's degree in sociology, social work, psychology, gerontology, anthropology, political science, history, criminal justice, theology, counseling, education
    or a related field; or be a registered nurse; and have five (5) years of mental health direct care experience, two (2) of which shall include supervisory
    experience.

    • Bachelor's Degree in nursing and 3 years of mental health direct care experience.
    Required Clearances:

    • Pennsylvania Act 33 clearance

    • Pennsylvania Act 34 clearance

    • FBI Clearance

    • Verification that the employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list
    Shifts available:
    Sunday / Thursday - 3pm - 11pm
