    KBR PROGRAM SUMMARY:
    KBR'S AFCAP V group provides ongoing support and operations services to the United States Air Force .

    The Security Escort Program acts as an integrated member of the unit providing operations continuity during rotation of personnel for OCN/LN personnel.

    KBR follows all AFCENT and local base escort po licies at the three site locations to include Kuwait (AASAB - Ali Al Salem Air Base), UAE (ADAB - Al Dhafra Air Base), and Saudi Arabia ( PSAB - Prince Sultan Air Base).


    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Under general oversight and guidance from the Site Manager (SM) and Assistant Site Manager (ASM), the Supervisor Escort provides supervision of others and provides day-to-day task management.

    May require detailed knowledge of local mission and site policies and SOPs. Responsible for supervising day-to-day operations of a team up to 20 Escorts. Uses experience and problem-solving skills to develop and improve processes, resolve conflicts, and ensures mission success.

    It is the Supervisor Escort's duty to (in coordination with the SM and ASM) maintain a safe workplace, ensure that site policies are followed, quality standards are met, and tasks are completed on time.

    A Supervisor Escort must demonstrate skill in these areas and emphasize experience in related positions and activities. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Have a thorough understanding of the duties and responsibilities of the Escorts.
    • Ensure team of Escorts adequately execute monitoring of un-cleared personnel (LN/OCN) into areas and monitors personnel while performing work. Make on-the-spot corrections as required.
    • Ensure Escorts are properly verifying LNs/OCNs personnel are logged in and out all and personnel counts are performed before and after they perform duties.
    • Provide general supervision of team to ensure work is completed for the day and the work zone have been purged by trained Force Protection military personnel and all LNs/OCNs have exited base and/or returned to camps.
    • Ensures all local base escorting policies are followed by your Team.
    • Provide training as required to ensure Escorts fully understand and comply with site policies and Escort responsibilities.
    • Consistently deescalate issues through communication in a professional and prompt manner.
    • Must be capable of working in a fast-paced multi-discipline team environment with the ability to managing competing priorities to achieve team goals. Proven supervisory skills to include effective planning, organizing, directing and controlling with strong decision-making capabilities. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills to lead a team to consensus. Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and listening. Ability to interact with staff at all levels from LN/OCN to senior executives.

    MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:

    • Use of Land Mobile Radios, cell phones, laptop, and other devices to maintain contact and accountability of work activities. The ability to drive company provided vehicles on and off base.

    PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

    • Physical requirements include lifting up to 35lb, team lifting up to 50lbs, climbing, extended sitting, or standing, stooping, stretching, and bending.
    • Work may require using and wearing personal protective equipment such as, hearing and eye protection,
    • Day-to-day physical requirements may involve standard office activities including sitting/standing for extended periods of time, attending meetings, use of keyboard and mouse repetitively, lifting and carrying less than 20 lbs. frequently, etc.
    • Work requires moderate physical exertion including walking to operating areas and walking up stairs

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Must be a US Citizen
    • Must have a US Passport with minimum one year availability
    • Must be able to pass a background check and have/maintain a Secret clearance
    • Must be capable of meeting/maintaining deployment medical and dental requirements
    • Must have at least two (2) years of supervising ten or more personnel
    • Must have at least two years of prior experience working overseas
