    Job Title: MRI Technologist at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health

    In a strong collaboration formed in 2020, Virginia Mason and CHI Franciscan Health united forces to establish a new health system, Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. This partnership brings together nearly 300 care sites, including 11 hospitals and close to 5000 physicians and providers.

    • Job Summary: Operates Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment to capture specific images for patient diagnosis under the physician's orders.

    Responsibilities include:
    - Operating MRI equipment following safety standards
    - Positioning patients accurately
    - Recording diagnostic images
    - Sending results to physicians for evaluation
    - Applying aseptic techniques
    - Maintaining imaging equipment quality
    - Continuing education to stay updated on medical terminology and techniques

    Your day-to-day tasks involve:
    - Preparing equipment for imaging tests based on physician's orders
    - Performing MRI procedures
    - Maintaining records as per protocols
    - Handling general office duties like answering phones and scheduling

    Qualifications:

    • Education/Experience: Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology
    • License/Certification:
      - ARRT certification required
      - State of Washington Certification as a Radiological Technologist required
      - ARRT MRI Certification preferred
      - Current BLS Certification
