- Support physicians by carrying out basic patient care tasks such as taking vital signs, weighing patients, and collecting specimens (including phlebotomy as required). Aid in patient examinations, treatments, and procedures. Assist in maintaining smooth patient flow within the clinic.
- Handle phone calls, record messages, and help with patient-related inquiries. Assist in arranging test appointments, communicating results, and obtaining pre-certifications.
- Thoroughly document patient information. Help with medication refills as directed by providers. Administer medications and immunizations based on provider orders.
- Ensure cleanliness and restock exam rooms. Follow proper equipment cleaning procedures. Manage supply orders and maintain sterile techniques.
- Perform assigned clerical tasks such as locating patient charts, filing, and completing routine forms. Attend meetings, training sessions, and handle any other duties as assigned.
- CERT certification
- Active LVN License in state of employment or under compact agreement
- BLS certification
