Description

Masterson Staffing in partnership with our valued client located in Chaska, MN are in search of a skilled maintenance technician for a great direct hire opportunity.

*Maintenance tech will use their mechanical ability to prioritize regular preventative maintenance and repairs on machines to minimize downtime on production lines. This position will use daily work orders, knowledge of machines, processes, and line calls to prioritize their daily duties.
*Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on assets

Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment.
Overhaul existing equipment and engage in new equipment installations.
Generate parts requests and follow all required MRO procedures to help ensure adequate inventory.
Identify initial priority and update on work orders based on status, inspection, and criticality for follow up. Notify Maintenance planner, Supervisor, or Manager verbally if equipment is at high risk of catastrophic failure.
Communicate with planner, parts coordinator if any availability or other part issues occur with materials required to complete work orders. Provide verbal communication on high priority items that place operations/equipment at risk.

*One year of industrial plant maintenance planning experience preferred with: · Maintenance Troubleshooting
