- Contribute to various Human Resources related projects and processes, working with the Central Region Human Resources team.
- Assist in the administration and support of HR Programs and policies.
- Pull, run, and manage reports.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with all applicable HR-related Local, State and Federal laws and reporting requirements (Poster requirements)
- Track and respond to HR-related inquiries from employees and managers.
- Participate in addressing and managing leaves of absence and employee relations issues.
- Coordinate local meetings and training agendas and material.
- Assist with developingpresentations as necessary in support of initiatives.
- Lead and/or participate in team projects.
- Support other ad hoc projects within the department as needed and requested.
- Report to and work directly with the Human Resource Manager / HR Generalist
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding company policies, procedures, programs and other people matters
- Point of contact for all leaves, WC issues in the region - working closely with the HR generalist
- Assist the HR team with acquisitions.
- Other duties and responsibilities as needed.
- Once trained in the role, opportunity for hybrid position.
- 2 + years' experience supporting or involvement with HR related functions (e.g., payroll, recruiting, benefits; Leaves of absence, FMLA, STD, LTD, ADA, etc.)
- Ability to handle sensitive subject matter with utmost integrity, discretion and confidentiality.
- Excellent time management, planning and communication skills.
- The ability to exercise initiative and work independently. We pride ourselves on being initiative-taking and directed
- Strong Computer skills in MS Office such as Word, Outlook, Power Point, Excel and other web applications
- Workday (or other similar HRIS) experience a plus
- Occasional travel to sites within the region - 50%
- High School degree required. College degree preferred.
