Position: Data Governance Consultant

Location; Newark NJ (Onsite)

Job description:

• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand data governance requirements.
• Designing, and developing data governance workflows,
• Ensuring compliance with data management policies.
• Configuring and customizing Informatica Data Governance tools, addressing data quality issues.
• Implementing metadata management strategies
• Work collaboratively with data stewards, analysts, and other stakeholders.
• API integrations
• Build approval workflow for data governance.

Required Skills: SQL, Data Governance, Infa Cloud Data Gov & Catalog Build approval workflow for data governance, Data Quality & Data Governance

• 7plus years of experience of in Data Governance Implementation in Financial Industries.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of the Informatica Data Governance tool.
• Ability to customize and extend data governance tools through scripting or API integrations.
• In-depth understanding of data governance principles, data lifecycle, and best practices Familiarity with data security, privacy, and compliance regulations.
• A proactive approach to anticipate and mitigate potential data management challenges.
• Ability to work collaboratively with data stewards, analysts, and other stakeholders.
• Team-oriented mindset to contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
• Strong documentation skills for recording data governance processes, configurations, and best practices. S
• strong understanding of data modeling, metadata management, and data quality concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL, data querying, and performance optimization techniques.
