    The client will provide the necessary and properly secured equipment needed to perform the job.

    The resource will help the client and the Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) in its efforts to modernize the DCS test management system (TMS) by: one, helping the client better understand business needs; three, testing and troubleshooting vendor deliverables and system requirements.

    A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Math, science, computer science, psychology, or related with at least 7 years of related experience is required.

    An equivalent combination of advanced education, training, and experience will be considered.
    Assist with the analysis and documentation of current TMS requirements as needed.
    Elicit future TMS state of the state business and user requirements. workshops, interviews, document analysis, or other techniques as needed.
    Document future TMS state of the state business and user requirements. written or visual, as needed.
    Confirm DCS validation and signoff on business and user requirements.


    Daily QA Duties:
    Oversight of TMS vendor testing, including user acceptance testing (UAT).
    Document the existing test coverage of the TMS system. Inventory and validate the current test cases and test scripts with the vendor.

    Manage UAT, modifying TMS vendor scripts as needed, making sure that defects are correctly submitted with appropriate criticality and that the TMS vendor is addressing the defects according to the contract.

    Identify and manage risks and issues related to testing.
    Perform manual testing to validate the system requirements. This may include functional unit testing, regression testing, and integration testing.
    Communicate analysis and testing status to the project team on a regular basis, verbally or in writing.
    Provide guidance to DCS stakeholders on the value and purpose of business analysis and testing.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis (BA) including but not limited to: requirements development, analysis, and documentation; requirement elicitation through workshops, interview, and documentation; The ideal candidate will have also have a strong background in quality assurance (QA) including but not limited to: oversight of vendor testing, including user acceptance testing (UAT); inventory and validation of test cases; management of UAT; manual testing such as functional unit testing, regression testing, and integration testing; and, the validation of test results, reporting on issues and risks as needed.

    For example, client teams may not be subject matter experts (SMEs) in BA and QA best practices, techniques, and industry standards, given this, the candidate must have sufficient direct experience in these fields, be highly motivated and positive.
