Pay Information 42,000-50,000 Pay Schedule Annually FLSA Designation Non-Exempt Position Summary This position provides advanced administrative support to the Office of Field Experiences. This position works closely with faculty, staff, students, and local school district personnel, so strong communication skills are a must. The Field Experiences Support Specialist will work closely with the Director of Field Experiences and Practicum Coordinator to manage and communicate information regarding practicums and clinical practice (student teaching). This position will gather and organize data related to student field experiences and internships. The Field Experiences Support Specialist will respond to emails and phone call inquiries, as well as support students as they enter the office. This position assists in the planning and implementation of several events for students and cooperating teachers. The Field Experiences Support Specialist will be responsible for updating the website by inputting content into Cascade CMS for the web page updates for advising, teacher certification and field experiences as per supervisor and other stakeholder requests. Job Duties Responsibility Area: Administrative support Duties: Provides administrative support for the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences Director of Field Experiences, including managing and communicating information regarding practicum and clinical practice (student teaching). This will include initiating requests to school districts for student placement in schools. Percentage Of Time 55 Essential Function: Yes Responsibility Area: Student assistance Duties: Provides assistance to students by responding to students via email and phone. This position will also greet students and answer questions and provide support as needed. Percentage Of Time 30 Essential Function: Yes Responsibility Area: Event planning Duties: Provides support in planning and implementing multiple events and seminars for students and cooperating teachers.
