    POSITION OVERVIEW:
    The Allocation Analyst in our Fort Lauderdale, Florida location is responsible to assists in the coordination with internal customers and provides analytical support to allocation management to provide insight on short term demand and supply signals for tactical and strategic planning

    This position interacts daily with tropics allocation, sales, customer service, distribution centers, and transportation organizations. Allocation Analyst analyses current demand and supply trends to optimize replenishment between facilities, minimize cost and maximize customer service.


    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
    The main responsibilities will be related to demand, sourcing and allocation planning.

    Demand plan based on confirmation from sales.

    Update inventory tools for bananas, plantains, pineapples and specialties.

    Prepare and provide reports for Allocation Management.

    Support initiatives for process automatization in company's systems (MCS, LRP).

    Communication with internal customers within supply chain area.

    Seeks improvement opportunities for network optimization.


    JOB REQUIREMENTS:
    Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent experience in related field required.

    3-4 years' experience in supply chain or logistics, customer service experience within a consumer products company.

    Effective team player and relationship builder.

    Sound judgment, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

    Analysis of large data sets to understand patterns and trends.

    Skilled level in Microsoft Excel, Word, and MS Access.

    Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation).

    Individual problem-solving skills and quantitative analysis skills.

    Enthusiasm for working within a fast paced and existing operations planning team.

    Bilingual (Spanish will be a plus)

    Ability to work on cross functional teams.

    Creative and innovative problem-solving skills.


    PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:
    Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.

    Candidate may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal.

    Candidate may use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment during normal workday.

    Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties.

    This position requires satisfactory passing of a drug test in accordance with Florida Statute §
