    KO Business Solutions is a professional staffing firm in the Chicagoland area that supports the hiring needs of companies across the country. Our valued industrial staffing partner is looking for an experienced Staffing Coordinator to join their team

    Location: Onsite, Gurnee, IL
    Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
    Pay Rate: $22.50/hr
    Job Type: Direct Hire
    Language: Bilingual, English and Spanish speaking required

    The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for sourcing, screening and recommending candidates for clients. This role will build applicant pools, establish trust and partnerships with company clients, identify potential "fit" through effective interviewing and testing, effectively administer the interviewing and onboarding process, and ensure a positive new hire experience.


    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Consult with Branch Manager and Clients on position descriptions, requisition creation, compensation and sourcing strategies.
    • Recruit and perform talent acquisition activities such as resume & phone screens, candidate interviews, recommend final selection of applicants and close qualified candidates.
    • Place and update all job postings through various channels including internet/intranet sites, colleges, social networks, community boards and staffing partners.
    • Create job order form, maintain applicant tracking systems, recruiting reports and other staffing administration functions as needed. Arrange pre-employment testing, background & references screenings.
    • Assists with the new hire onboarding process by ensuring new hires have completed all their new hire paperwork prior to starting and send out information regarding their first day.
    • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
    • Attends and participates in job fairs, community activities, and other public and departmental recruitment-related events.
    • Continuously develop networks/partnerships to actively build a database/pipeline of candidates.
    • Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours.
    • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Qualifications:
    • Associates Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
    • 2-3 years of experience working in a talent acquisition preferably in the staffing industry.
    • Strong understanding of staffing principles, laws, and procedures and a solid working knowledge of recruitment/employment programs.
    • Bi-Lingual in English and Spanish is required.
    • Self-starter with excellent time management, multitasking and organizational skills. 11. Strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
    • Knowledge of various recruiting techniques, and experience in online/social media recruiting. Knowledge of multi-location payroll and taxes.
    • Knowledge of the payable management process, specifically around invoice processing/payments and customer service/resolution
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
