- The Operating Room (OR) at Rochester General Hospital offers elective and emergency surgeries for adult and pediatric patients performed daily in our 23 operating rooms.
- The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is a 28-bed critical care unit providing care for patients who are recovering from surgery.

As a Registered Nurse (RN), youre the engine and the heart of patient care at Rochester Regional Health. You make a positive difference every single day in the lives of our patients, their family members and visitors going above and beyond to meet their needs with courtesy, kindness, respect and compassion.
OurPerioperative EXPLOREprogram is an immersive program that provides hands-on training alongside an experienced nurse preceptor. This program is geared towards RNs interested in working in the Operating Room. RNs in this program will complete rotations in the following areas:
STATUS:Full Time
LOCATION: Rochester General Hospital
SCHEDULE:Primarily Day/Evening, Monday-Friday; Nights, Weekends&Holidays,&on-call responsibilities per unit requirements. All interested candidates must live within a 30-minute drive to Rochester General Hospital to fulfill on-call duties.

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements.
