    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

    • Salary: $344K + RVU Bonus Eligibility with additional moonlighting options at $250/hr.
    • Overnight Shift: 10:30 pm-8 am; 4 Shifts weekly, including overnight weekends, 2x a month.
    • CME/Indirect Costs: $3,000 + 3-5 days.
    • PTO: 14 paid holidays plus 30 additional days off, including sick time (accrues yearly).
    • Relocation assistance available per SBUH & IRS guidelines.
    • Offer of Sign-on bonus.
    • Educational repayment assistance for eligible candidates through PSLF, being a non-profit employer.
    • Generous medical/health benefits provided through Empire BC/BS, along with extensive retirement and pension offerings.
    • Retirement benefits include a 403(b) plan and exceptional NY State pension.
    • Pension: Employer contributes 8% of your annual salary at no cost to you, with vesting in 3 years.
    • Malpractice and tail insurance are fully covered.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND FACILITY DETAILS

    • Provide clinical care for psychiatric patients in a Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) or an equivalent emergency setting.
    • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and manage care for patients in the CPEP/ED of the University Hospital.
    • Engage in teaching and supervising residents, nurses, and medical students.
    • After-hours practice opportunities available through the hospital. No offsite practices or external patient consultations. (non-negotiable)
