**Description:**
Program manufacturing jobs, fixtures, and repairs within facility, review customer supplied prints and create programs to optimize use of existing equipment
and analyze and advise improvements in fixturing, work holding, and tooling.
Also they will have to Develop CNC Programs for Mazak Integrex 5 Axis Machining Center in EIA format, DMG 5 axis mill with Siemens control, Vertical Mills with 4th Axis Rotary Chucks, Horizontal Mills & Fanuc Lathes. Review routers for production , develop and design work holding and select cutting tools
Utilize computer aided design/computer aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) and related computer technology to develop programs and tool path models. Organize and maintain DNC system to current processes including setup information to define tooling selection in tool room and decrease setup times at machines
**Qualifications:**
10+ years in a manufacturing environment
5 years of cnc programming experience and DNC systems
Experience working on a mill machine
At least 5 years of mastercam experience
Effectively communicate and report machine performance and areas for improvement in the machining process
Test new machine technologies in an effort to reduce part cycle times
Continually searching for ways to improve existing processes
Provide support to machinist as needed
Ability to lead teams in development of new product processes
Review routers for production process
Develop and design work holding and select cutting tools. Create and compile necessary documents to aid in setting up machines
Utilize computer aided design/computer aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) and related computer technology to develop programs and tool path models
Organize and maintain DNC system to current processes including setup information to define tooling selection in tool room and decrease setup times at machines
Effectively evaluate, communicate, and report machine performance along with areas for improvement in the machining process
Continually search for advancements in tooling and technology for ways to improve existing processes
Test new machine technologies to reduce part cycle times
Trouble shoots CNC program problems on the floor assisting operators to correct them
Continuously improve design and production efforts by working closely with engineering team
Assist in creating models and blueprints for work holding and fixturing
Assist in training with other CNC programmers
Perform responsibilities as defined in QHSE Management System or direct supervisor.
