    PathWays of the River Valley has been supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in Sullivan and lower Grafton Counties for the last 50 years.

    We are dedicated to providing opportunities and opening doors in the community for the people we serve.

    Currently, we have Program Manager positions available in two of our programs as outlined below.

    Program Manager for Community Programs –

    Newport


    We are looking for a team player to oversee the daily operations of a community program ensuring quality services are provided to the individuals served.

    Flexible thinking and a knack and desire for problem-solving are key to supervising direct support professionals and serving as the liaison for teams and meetings related to the services provided.

    You will need to perform direct care as needed and may be assigned to various locations based on program needs.

    You will know you have been successful in this role if after a year you have made strong connections with the families/guardians/home providers of the individuals served; made your team better through positive contributions; and, helped others at PathWays by assisting individuals make progress on their goals, contributed to the development of staff, assisted other managers as needed, or developed the program.

    Residential Program Manager –

    Lyme


    We are looking for a team player to oversee the daily operations, in conjunction with another manager and nursing staff, of a residential home ensuring quality services are provided to the individuals served.


    You will supervise residential support professionals and serve as the liaison for teams and meetings related to the services provided.


    You will need to perform direct care (including personal care such as toileting, bathing, feeding, etc.) as needed as well as ensuring that daily tasks such as laundry, cooking, etc.

    are completed. You will also engage in enhancing and/or developing community resources and oversee records management for the program.
    The positions report to the Director of Community Services and Residential Director respectively and are full-time, hourly, non-exempt positions.

    Qualifications and Requirements for the positions:

    All PathWays' positions require the completion of a comprehensive background check including a criminal background check, MVR, DCYF, BEAS, and OIG checks.

    Candidates must be able to provide at least two professional references
    A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred extensive program management experience may substitute for the degree.
    A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience is required.
    A minimum of 2 years of human services experience is required; developmental disabilities experience is highly preferred
    Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
    Ability to frequently and efficiently switch gears between tasks
    At least intermediate proficiency in MSOffice (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    Willingness/ability to travel within the region/state as needed
    Valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle are necessary
    Upon hire, you must pass a TB test (Paid for by us)


    Compensation details:
    22-26 Hourly Wage
