- Clear understanding of Hazard communication policies.
- Working knowledge of Inventory Management Systems preferred.

Position Purpose

The Chemical Operator/batchmaker role consists of adding the indicated raw materials to a mixer following a batch instruction sheet with special attention to quality, follows established standard operating procedures with attention to safety rules and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
• Assists in maintaining good housekeeping in work area and throughout the facility.
• Promptly reports any problems or out of the ordinary situations to supervisor.
• Maintain schedule efficiency to meet production demand.
• Responsible for reporting and/or recording inventory movements using the inventory management system.
• Performs periodic sampling for quality control.
• Follows direction from supervisor and/or QC technician to ensure product meets established quality control standards.
• May be required to assist in general labor tasks as needed and indicated by supervisor.
• May be required to assist in the training of new personnel on the safe operation of mixing equipment.
