    Ultrasound Technologist Job Summary

    We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care and be able to think and act independently in emergency situations.

    About the Role

    • Operate ultrasound equipment to produce quality images of designated body parts under the direct order of a physician.
    • Accomplish patient care in a timely, professional, efficient, and safe manner.
    • Perform invasive and non-invasive procedures on various patients, utilizing sterile techniques and assisting physicians as needed.

    Requirements

    • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
    • ARDMS or ARRT Registry in Ultrasound required at time of hire; Vascular Ultrasound Registry from ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI also required.
    • BCLS certification and completion of required CEUs to maintain certification.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related profession.
    • 12 months of previous experience in ultrasound.
    • Registration in multiple specialties (ARDMS).
