Job Overview
Description
We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to conduct medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
While conducting Disability Assessments, you will examine behavioral health records digitally through a secure Web Portal and conduct a thorough assessment in person for each Veteran.
You will also fill out Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) via the Web Portal.
The Licensed Psychologist DOES NOT make disability determinations. The U.S. Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations, using the information documented in the DBQs.
This position SOLELY executes Disability Assessments on Veterans. You will NOT provide treatment or medication prescriptions in this role.
The Licensed Psychologist will evaluate and assess an average of 3 (sometimes 4) Veterans per day.
The Licensed Psychologist will be engaged as an Independent Contractor
Schedule 2-3 days
This is an IN-PERSON position.
