    Description


    ResponsibilitiesThe Orthopedic Certified Athletic Trainer will work in conjunction with a licensed physician to carry out the practice of preventing, recognizing, evaluating, managing, disposing, treating, reconditioning, or rehabilitating athletic injuries.

    The Orthopedic Certified Athletic Trainer will demonstrate professional development and clinical competency, as well as other organizational tasks related to patient treatment.

    The Orthopedic Certified Athletic Trainer acts in a clinical leadership role, and applies knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions.

    The Orthopedic Certified Athletic Trainer performs other related duties which includes, but is not limited to:
    obtaining pertinent patient medical history, developing a plan of care, medication preparation and administration, phlebotomy, obtaining vital signs, suture/staple removal, bracing, splinting, and casting


    QualificationsRequired:
