    Job DescriptionCapitol View Transitional Care Center is a state-of-the-art true transitional care unit (TCU) located in Regions Hospital (we are part of the HealthPartners organization as a separate nonprofit organization.) We provide quality care to patients from 18+ years of age who are in need of a short-term stay.

    Our average length of stay is 17 days.

    Come join our team as a Physical Therapy Assistant and see how rewarding and fun work can be in a TCU As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will be responsible for the following job duties and responsibilities:

    Plans and administers medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for adult and geriatric patients suffering from injuries or muscle, nerve, joint and bone diseases, to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.

    Develops and carries treatment plans and goals specifically designed for the patient.

    Instructs and motivates patients to perform various physical activities and consults with licensed Physical Therapist to advance or modify established goals.

    Performs other duties as assigned.

    0.0; on-call/casual

    Work Schedule:
    Saturday/Sunday 8am-430pm; Required to work 1-2 weekends per month

    Required Qualifications:
    Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree as a physical therapist assistant 1 year experience as a physical therapy assistant Licensed and registered Physical Therapy Assistant with unrestricted license to practice in the State of Minnesota

    Union Position:

    NoBenefits:Benefits are available for non-union staff working 24 hours (0.6 FTE) or union staff working 32 hours (0.8 FTE) per week and are effective the first of the month after 30 days of employment.
