- Design and deliver training programs on Data Engineering concepts, tools, and best practices using Databricks, Spark, Notebooks.
- Train and onboard users to Data Engineering platform, ensuring users have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively utilize the platform.
- Provide technical guidance and support to users during the onboarding process and throughout their engagement with the platform.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop training materials, documentation, and resources.
- Stay UpToDate with the latest trends and advancements in Data Engineering, and incorporate them into training programs as appropriate.
- Contribute to data modernization efforts by working with cloud solutions and implementing best practices for building and optimizing data pipelines.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to data processing and data pipeline optimization.
- Communicate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders effectively.

- 12+ years of experience of professional experience in related IT field
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of multiple source systems such as Peoplesoft, Mainframe, JDE. SAP, Ariba, Salesforce etc
- Deep technical expertise in building and optimizing data pipelines and large scale processing systems.
- Experience working with cloud solutions and contributing to data modernization efforts.
- Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, Pyspark, Scala) for data manipulation and transformation.
- Excellent understanding of data engineering principles, data architecture, and database management.
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the healthcare, distribution, or software industries is a plus.
- Strong technical aptitude and experience with a wide variety of technologies
- Ability to rapidly learn and if required evaluate a new tool or technology.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Demonstrated technical experience.
- Be an innovative thinker.

Current Need:
Mckesson Corporation is looking for a Data Engineering Trainer willing to play a crucial role in training, designing, onboarding users to data engineering platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop training programs and conduct sessions to onboard users providing a deep understanding of data engineering principles, cloud technologies, and a commitment to delivering high quality solutions.
Key responsibilities:

Our Base Pay Range for this position
$149,900 - $249,800
