    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cyber Security Specialist to join our dynamic team. The Cyber Security Specialist will play a crucial role in developing and implementing robust cybersecurity measures, including Incident Response Plans (IRPs), to mitigate risks and safeguard the organization against cyber threats.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain an Incident Response Plan (IRP) to effectively respond to cyber security incidents.
    • Protect systems by defining access privileges and control structures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and resources.
    • Review security logs, identify abnormalities, and report violations to detect and mitigate potential security breaches.
    • Implement security improvements by assessing current infrastructure, evaluating trends, and anticipating future requirements.
    • Conduct periodic security audits to determine security violations and inefficiencies.
    • Upgrade systems by implementing and maintaining security controls to enhance overall cybersecurity posture.
    • Prepare performance reports and communicate system status to relevant stakeholders.
    • Design, test, and implement security systems to address evolving cyber threats.
    • Provide information on current security threats and design effective countermeasures to mitigate risks.
    • Coordinate with both internal and external entities to ensure alignment of cyber security measures and response strategies.
    • Review security policies and make recommendations for improvements to enhance overall security posture.
    • Develop security policies based on specific needs identified by the organization or regulatory entities.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cyber security or related roles.
    • Strong understanding of cyber security principles, practices, and technologies.
    • Proficiency in developing and implementing Incident Response Plans (IRPs).
    • Experience in defining access privileges, control structures, and security policies.
    • Ability to review security logs, identify abnormalities, and report violations.
    • Skilled in assessing current infrastructure, evaluating trends, and anticipating future requirements.
    • Knowledge of security auditing techniques and methodologies.
    • Experience in designing, testing, and implementing security systems.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) preferred.
