TheSr. Analyst, Inter-company & Tax Accounting position is mainly responsible for preparing corporate income tax and other taxes. The position also requires to respond to annual audit and interim reviews.
Compensation
$58k - $63k per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee all aspects of tax accounting, including compliance, reporting, and planning
Ensure that all tax-related filings and reporting are completed accurately and on time, including federal, state, and local taxes
Preparation and review of tax provisions and related documentation, including financial statement disclosures
Provide guidance and support to other members of accounting team on tax-related matters, including advising on the tax implications of business decisions and transactions
Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and ensure that the company remains compliant and identify potential impact on the company's tax position
Work closely with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure that all tax-related issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner
Develop and maintain tax accounting policies and procedures that ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Respond to tax audits and examinations, and work with external advisors to prepare responses to tax authorities
Prepare and review tax-related disclosures for financial statements and other regulatory filings
Manage the tax return calendar for the company, ensuring that all tax returns are filed accurately and on time
Develop and maintain tax return preparation checklists and templates to ensure that all necessary information is provided to external advisors in a timely manner
Ensure that all necessary tax-related payments, including estimated tax payments and withholding tax payments, are made accurately and on time
Manage the month-end close process, ensuring that all necessary accounting activities are completed accurately and on time
Work closely with other members of accounting team to ensure that all financial data is properly recorded and reconciled
Identify and resolve accounting issues that arise in daily transactions and month-end close process
Coordinate with external auditors to support the annual audit and any interim reviews
Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures. Document policies, procedures, and workflows for assigned areas of responsibility. Contribute to the development and establishment of accounting policies, procedures, and operational strategies. Review and implement process and system changes as required
Participate in department and organization special projects as assigned
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management to support the accounting function and the overall goals of the organization

Accounting knowledge and experience Preferred
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree Required
Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience required in Accounting Required
Four (4) to Seven (7) years of experience in Accounting Preferred
CPA license Preferred
