    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Proactively identify, pursue, and respond to leads for new project opportunities.
    • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing clients.
    • Summarize project requirements for seamless hand-off to the project management team.
    • Review estimates and proposals to ensure precision and alignment with project objectives.
    • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, including proposals, material samples, literature, drawings, and renderings.
    • Assist in Requests for Proposals (RFPs) by providing pertinent project information and documentation.
    • Conduct research on local zoning code regulations to ensure project compliance.
    • Manage plan approval requirements and submittals, liaising with regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
    • Analyze competitors and identify avenues to enhance market share.
    • Contribute to ongoing marketing plans and advertising initiatives to bolster company visibility.
    • Maintain and update the CRM platform to manage client interactions effectively.
    • Actively participate in networking activities such as events, conferences, and seminars to enhance brand recognition and expand the companys professional network.
    • Capture site progress through photography during all construction phases.
    • Prepare project information sheets highlighting completed projects to showcase achievements and capabilities.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Associates or Bachelors degree in architecture, drafting, engineering, business, or a construction-related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development.
    • At least 2 years of experience in the construction industry.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Proficiency in construction drawing/drafting and estimating software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.
    • Bachelors degree in construction management, engineering, business, or marketing.
    • Experience in design/build construction sales.
    • Proficiency in estimating, drafting, or conceptual design.
    • Familiarity with pre-engineered metal building construction techniques and materials.
    • Expertise in building products, construction details, and relevant regulations and quality standards.
