    Job Objective: The Project Manager is responsible for coordination, tracking and communication with all appropriate internal employees, outside vendors and customers throughout the entire life of the project.

    Opportunity:

    Yamazen has an immediate opening for a Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for Coordinating all aspects of the automation projects. The chosen candidate will enjoy working from a state-of-the-art technical facility at our new NA Headquarters in Elk Grove, IL. Our main focus will be to automate our Brother, Takisawa and Matsuura lines. The candidate will also help with the search of additional personnel for the current and future growth of our team.

    Essential Job Functions:
    • Maintain/administer job budgets and finances and their impact on final profitability. Budget based upon quoted amount & quoted process.
    • Create timelines per customer
    • Create KPI (Key Performance Indicators), provide targets for teams to shoot for, milestones to gauge progress, and insights that help people across the organization make better decisions.
    • Keep management informed on job completion status, problems with timing and provide input as to solutions to delivery problems.
    • Be proactive in getting necessary information to keep all activities moving not waiting for information.
    • Facilitate internal meetings with Automation Division team and external meetings with vendors and customers.
    • Keep an open issues list, which includes the person responsible for each task.
    • Prepare documentation which encompasses BOM, schematics, risk analysis, safety sign-off
    • Great organization and prioritization skills as well as strong verbal and written skills
    • A strong work ethic and problem-solving skills
    • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required
    Qualifications

    Education and Experience:
    1. Candidate must have an Engineering degree or 3 years' experience in Project Management
    2. Candidate must have good organizational skills, people skills and accountability.
    3. Candidate must be able to present a professional demeanor suitable for this position.
