- Must be able to swim, with fins, safety equipment, and with a partner, into the Atlantic Ocean or Delaware Bay ' off the shore to a depth of -15 feet while taking multiple location data points with survey gear.

- Must have your own transportation to the Pomona House on the days scheduled as there is no transportation provided from campus

- Red Cross Life Guard certification or PADI/NOUI dive certification or equivalent
