As a Pediatric Hospitalist, you will work with our team to manage deliveries in a community setting.

We are part of large health system with Children's center Level 3 NICU available for transfer if higher level care needed.

• Attend deliveries Emergency Center consults when requested pediatric patients Deliveries mainly term; may involve premature unstable infants requiring stabilization transfer off-campus NICUs In-house manage well newborn special care nursery as well patient consultations busy Emergency Center Typical ED consultations asthma exacerbation bronchiolitis pneumonia cellulitis abscess jaundice dehydration fever rule out infection infants Group also involved quality improvement clinical protocol creation professional development scholarly activities Work Family medicine residents medical students actively teaching role Rotate other pediatric hospitalists group providing inhouse coverage 24/7
