    Description

    About the Role:

    • Operate Electric Dredge and assist in production and maintenance, contributing to extraction processing storage and shipping of aggregates.
    • Responsible for Operating Electric Dredge to max daily production according to operational capabilities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain quarry equipment, troubleshoot issues, perform routine maintenance relating to dredging operations including greasing pre-shift inspection fluids hydraulic levels cable conditions floatation conditions.
    • Demonstrate commitment to communicating improving adhering health safety environmental policies promoting culture safety exhibit safe work habits effectively communicate verbally via two-way radio.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree High School GED equivalent preferred three plus years experience dredge operations preferably cutter head style dredge.
       
      Able operate 2-way radio detect safety hazards respond accordingly thorough understanding safety regulations MSHA standards basic math reading writing skills computer skills haul trucks loaders mine equipment weekend overtime flexibility a must demonstrate strong verbal communication ability written reports English fluency medical high school diploma minimum requirement*.
