    The CFS team has a strong track record of success, having secured over $1.6 billion in grant funding. CFS is mission-driven, aiming to provide equitable access to the climate funding ecosystem.

    It is focused on supporting high-impact, climate-related ventures, and training and growing high-potential hires to develop the next class of leaders in climate./ph3Summary/h3pAs a Grants Project Manager, you will play a vital role in the successful administration and development of grants within our organization.

    You will be responsible for overseeing the entire grant application process, from client kick-off to submission.

    This role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the fulfillment of grant objectives.

    Youll need an in-depth knowledge of most federal funding agencies like the Department of Energy, United States Department of Agriculture, Environmental Protective Agency, and National Science Foundation.

    /pulliLead the preparation and submission of grant applications, ensuring compliance with all requirements and deadlines./liliServe as the primary point of contact between our CFS team and the client/partners./liliDevelop project timeline and milestones based on solicitation requirements./liliCreate project tasks that align with the funding solicitation and are assigned to the appropriate team members./liliManage client expectations by setting go and no-go points with clear instructions./liliProvide weekly status updates to the client on project status and pending action items.

    /li/ulpTeam Leadership:

    /pulliProvide clear direction and leadership to the writing team assigned to you./liliSet goals and objectives for the team and individual team members./liliFoster a positive and collaborative team culture./liliCheck-in on available capacity from the team for project forecasting./liliCompetency with assigning appropriate team members to projects based on area of expertise./liliAwareness of team members working threshold to avoid burnout.

    /li/ulpCommunication:

    /pulliMaintain open and effective communication channels within the team./liliCommunicate project updates, expectations, and changes to team members./liliAct as a liaison between the writing team and upper management./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliBachelors degree in a related field (e.g., business administration, public administration, nonprofit management). Priority given to applicants with graduate degrees./liliFluency in English required./liliMinimum of three years previous experience in grant project management, including managing teams of people working on grants. Candidates with prior grant writing experience preferred./liliCertifications in pre-award research administration preferred - i.e. GPA, CGP, or CRA/CPRA./liliDocumented history of at least three years of funded grant awards for which candidate was project manager./liliDeep understanding of federal agencies including but not limited to the Department of Energy, United States Department of Agriculture, Environmental Protective Agency, and National Science Foundation./liliFamiliarity with federal SF424 forms./liliUnderstanding of the Justice40 Initiative; can speak confidently about the agencys interests and requirements./liliStrong knowledge of federal grant compliance and regulations requirements (2 CFR 200) and federal grant budgets and standard forms (SF424 family)./liliWorking knowledge of federal grant submission platforms (, Workspace, and eXCHANGE). Additional working knowledge of state grant submission platforms preferred./liliExceptional organizational and time management skills./liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills./liliProficiency in using project management tools Asana and Google Workspace./liliAbility to work independently and as part of a team./liliDetail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities./liliCommitment to the organizations mission and values.
