    The Role:

    As an EHS Manager, you'll be instrumental in cultivating a safety-first mindset and steering our facility toward LEED certification. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations at the plant level, as well as adhering to federal, provincial, and local standards. This position calls for a candidate who can analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and implement pragmatic solutions. You'll need to be a resourceful individual with a knack for overcoming obstacles and a commitment to excellence.

    Your Impact:

    • Lead the facility's compliance with OSHA, state, and local regulations, focusing on continuous improvement in our safety and environmental performance.
    • Develop and coordinate comprehensive training programs in safety, emergency response, and environmental regulations.
    • Manage emergency response efforts, accident prevention plans, and workers' compensation claims, ensuring a safe and responsive working environment.
    • Conduct job safety analyses, ergonomic assessments, and root cause analyses for incidents, driving corrective and preventative actions.
    • Oversee environmental regulatory audits, reporting, and maintain ISO 14001:2015 Certification, showcasing our clients' commitment to environmental management.

    Must have:

    • A Bachelor's Degree
    • Over 5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Certifications such as CSM or COSM, with a strong background in occupational health and safety.
    • Proven ability to lead cultural change, with expertise in problem-solving methodologies like 8D and Lean Manufacturing principles.
