- Provide in-home crisis intervention services using effective crisis response modality.
- Support the development of potential foster parents in understanding the needs of youth entering foster care and the expectation of mentoring primary families.
- Recruit new foster families by working with current, former, and prospective foster parents.
- Responsible for knowledge and implementation of all rules, regulations, and policies related to foster care.
- Document all interactions in case notes that meet billing expectations.
- Provide crisis interventions services to de-escalate situations and promote placement stability.
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
- Previous experience as a caseworker in IL child welfare system required.
- Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones, and tablets, printers, fax machines, and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
