    Summary

    KBRA (KBRA Holdings, LLC) is seeking a Senior Leader to head our Data and Content Management team. This role is based in New York and reports to the Chief Technology Officer. You will be responsible for driving and developing the strategy for KBRA's data and content organization/structure, data management operations and data commercialization initiatives. This role covers both the rating agency (Kroll Bond Rating Agency, LLC) and KBRA's data and analytics platform (KBRA Analytics).

    About the Job

    As the Head of Data and Content Management, you will work closely with business and technology to develop strategies for organizing KBRA's various data sets, building taxonomies/ontologies and establishing standards. You will be responsible for managing and expanding KBRA's data operations function. You will help drive the strategy around commercializing KBRA's data assets. You will work to expand and augment the data quality program at KBRA. You will work closely with engineering and product to integrate data sets into KBRA products. This role is both tactical (hands-on) and strategic.

    What you'll do?

    • Set the overall strategy for managing and organizing data at KBRA.
    • Manage the Content Management team across their various disciplines.
    • Continue the development of the KBRA's data governance and data quality program.
    • Working closely with KBRA Analytics leadership regarding commercialization of data sets
    • Act as a primary point of contact with regulators regarding data management and operations for ratings.
    • Work with technology to develop or acquire tools that support, automate and augment the data management process.
    • Set the strategy for data operations.
    • Identify and onboard data providers to enhance and/or automate data needs across KBRA.
    • Participate as a member of the technology leadership team contributing to the overall technology, product and data strategy for KBRA.

    You are an entrepreneurial problem solver who can inspire, develop and lead a team. You are an energetic and effective communicator who can articulate the "story" of your vision and strategy. You are able and willing to both develop high level strategies as well as "roll up your sleeves" and dig into the details.

    You will be successful in this role if you have:

    • Bachelor's degree is required. A Master's degree is highly desired.
    • Fifteen (15) or more years of experience in data strategy/data management.
    • Financial Services background
    • Experience developing plans and strategies for the commercialization of data sets.
    • Exposure to working in regulated environment.
    • Experience with content/data management tooling like Master Data Management, Taxonomy Management Systems, Data Quality Systems
    • Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including executives, team members, customers, and partners.
    • Ability to develop a clear strategy aligned with the company's objectives.
    • Have excellent written, verbal communication skills and the ability to adapt communication to audience – that will range from senior management, key stakeholders in analytical groups, to technical teams.
    • Experience integrating data with Artificial Intelligence tools is preferred.
    • Previous Ratings Agency experience is most helpful.

    Salary Range:

    The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $250,000 - $300,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
