    Advent Design is seeking a Senior Electrical Controls Engineer to join its growing business. Advent Design's specialty in custom equipment means there's something new every day.     Position is based in Bristol, Pa. All levels of experience are encouraged to apply.


    Responsibilities:
    Program PLC's, HMI's and Servo's to application specific requirements.
    Create and maintain Electrical schematics and panel layouts using the latest version of AutoCAD.
    Create designs from concepts following through to FAT.
    Design control and motion architecture.
    Create and maintain Electrical Bill of Materials and purchasing requests.
    Be a Key Controls resource in design reviews with Advent or customer engineers.
    Support Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing and Commissioning.
    Technical writing, procedures and manuals.
    Other Engineering tasks as required.
    Perform all function in adherence to good engineering practices and Advent Design internal procedures and practices.
    Able to learn new devices and technologies as required.


    Experience/Skills:
    Must be a US citizen. No sponsorships.
    Must pass a background check.
    Experience in Machine Controls Design, PLC programming and Motion Control a plus.
    Able to read and understand Electrical Schematics and panel layouts.
    BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field a plus. Will consider years of experience in leu of a degree.
    Ability to diagnose, and fix mechanical, electrical and software related issues.
    Able to read and decipher programming by other engineers.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to work with vendors and customers.
    Able to work with minimal supervision.
    Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
    AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical.
    Mechanical aptitude.
    Detail oriented
    Able to adjust to changing specifications and schedules.
    Training provided.
    Ability to pass a drug screening

    Experience in one or more of the following is a plus:
    Allen-Bradley Logix family of controllers and programming
    Beckhoff TwinCat programming software.
    Siemens TIA Portal
    Other IEC61131 programming languages aside from Ladder Logic
    Structured Text programming.
    State Machine programming style.
    Motion control, Servos, Steppers, VFDs.
    Robotics; Adept, ABB, Fanuc
    Labview

    Pay:
    From $100,000.00 per year - Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
    Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday
