    About the Role

    Requisition Type: Non-Contingent (Open)

    Position Title: Assistant Project Manager

    Assistant Project Management (APM) support for Homeland Security (DHS) Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) contract providing Program Management, Educational Aides Services, Publication Storage and Assembly Warehouse Services, Student Records Management Services, Class Registration Services and Disclosure Support Services.

    Location: Brunswick, GA

    Security Clearance Level: Able to complete a favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI) or Background Investigation (BI)

    Responsibilities

    • Remain on call twenty-four hours a day to handle emergencies and ensure the Contracting Officer (CO) is provided with specific contact information.
    • In the absence of the Project Manager, administer all services described in the contract specifications, receive any complaints concerning performance of contract services, rectify the causes of the complaints, and act as a central point of contact with the Government.
    • Remain available to support and assist all FLETC Training Delivery Points (TDPs) to ensure conformance to FLETC Directives, manuals, Standard Operating Procedures, etc. and provide the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) status updates on all TDPs and ensure continuity of services.

    Qualifications

    • Have a minimum of three years of consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five years.
    • Must be proficient in oral and written communication in English.
    • Must be proficient in the use of a computer to communicate via email, retrieve reports and provide reports to the CO/COR.
    • The APM shall be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Possess a valid United States driver's license.
