    Job Description:

    We are looking for a caring and qualified Special Education Teacher to become part of our team in Jamestown, California. The Special Education Teacher will play a crucial role in delivering personalized instruction and assistance to students with special needs, ensuring they receive a top-notch education and chances for academic and social development.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Create and execute tailored education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, collaborating with parents, fellow educators, and support staff.
    • Deliver direct teaching in various subjects, social abilities, and life skills, utilizing proven methodologies and supportive technologies.
    • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate the diverse learning requirements of students, guaranteeing their access to the standard educational syllabus.
    • Track student advancement through continuous evaluation and data gathering, refining teaching techniques as needed to foster student progress.
    • Work alongside general education teachers to establish inclusive learning settings and back the successful integration of students with special needs.
    • Maintain precise and updated records of student development, IEPs, and any necessary paperwork.

    Qualifications:

    • Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
    • Possession of California state certification in Special Education.
    • Successful completion of a teacher readiness program endorsed by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC).
    • Valid clear credential or intern credential in Special Education granted by the CCTC.
    • Familiarity with special education statutes and rules, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and California Education Code.
    • Previous experience working with students with disabilities in an academic environment is advantageous.
    • Exceptional communication, teamwork, and organizational proficiencies.
