North Star Radiology is a partnership of radiology physicians dedicated to providing excellence in diagnostic imaging. We are focused on patient-centered care delivered with service, quality, and compassion.

Additional responsibilities include providing procedure-related patient care and education, maintaining records and documentation of procedures, and ensuring the safety and comfort of all patients, operators, staff and visitors.

This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position, with a generous employee benefits package, including employer-paid health insurance premiums and 401k matching.

Provide proper radiation protection for patient and staff.
Communicate with front desk staff any changes that may alter patient schedule flow.
Perform equipment quality checks and troubleshoot problems; Maintain equipment service manual, delivery schedule and all related statistics.
Maintain and clean all equipment in accordance with required decontamination procedures.

Successful completion of a certified radiology technologist program.
Current CPR certification for healthcare providers.
Detailed knowledge of current CT scanning and X-Ray procedures.
Microsoft Office Suite applications;
Accessing and navigating company intranet for forms, policies and procedures;
Accessing and entering data on organization-wide software;

Employee may occasionally be required to hold meetings or work in the hospital facility, where noise and temperature can vary from the office environment.

Most work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities within an office or cubicle space, equipped with a telephone and computer.
