    Job Description Job Description ResponsibilitiesWorking in our engineering department enables you to immediately support design and development on multiple product linesYou will also have the opportunity to use your ingenuity and be challenged to create new products for specific applicationsWork with outside sales staff to support sales growth of territory, coordinate activities with all functions within the Company for Distribution/OEM customers and field representativesResponds clearly, promptly and courteously to distributors, OEM and Field Sales inquiries regarding price and delivery; limited technical assistance; quotations follow up and order statusSends assembly instructions and customer drawings as requiredReviews vendor managed accounts with our key customersResponsible for filing data entry and other general office tasksProvides required weekly status reports to key customersProvides back up service for the other Customer Service Representatives as requiredAccomplishes other special projects as directed by Customer Service SupervisorBuilds team relationship with field service and all other Amphenol staffProcess orders into order entry systemResponsible to follow up on critical ordersReviews all confirming order and notify customers in writing of any discrepanciesPerforms reconciliation activities for assigned territories as requiredHandles customer complaints and processes returns and creditsAlerts field staff to key opportunities and critical problemsCollects competitive intelligence, including past quotations and buy historyQualificationsThe ability to work cross culturally and cross functionally is necessaryPossessing a high degree of analytical and critical thinking, creative problem solving and strong communications is necessaryAn appreciation and understanding of the value of diversity in the work place will also be requiredStrong computer skills required, plus excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervisionMust have a positive attitude, dependability, proven communication and problem solving skills and PC proficiency in Windows MS Office (Excel, work, outlook) and web based application#J-18808-Ljbffr
