We are looking for a driven campus recruiter to source and attract talented students for our internships, early talent programs and direct hire positions. You will be required to identify and define hiring needs, source talented candidates through events and advertising campaigns, interview potential candidates, and monitor newly recruited employees and interns. You will play a vital role in the team, partnering with the business and HR (Human Resource) leaders to provide technical expertise and solutions to current and future challenges. You will drive energizing initiatives, attracting the best candidates in line with Global and business strategies. This position is expected to work a hybrid schedule with 3 days/week in the office. Relocation assistance will not be offered for this position.

    Your responsibilities
    • Assess the hiring needs and develop job descriptions and specifications accordingly to manager requests. Ensure consistent communication regarding recruiting efforts by providing status updates to all stakeholders through meetings, email updates and reports
    • Assist in creation, management and scheduling of branding and social media content
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the full recruiting cycle (That is, sourcing, pre screen for skills & experience, communicate status, answer questions and coordinate all follow up efforts)
    • Maintain relationships with universities, student organizations, and recruitment networks. Including attending campus recruiting events and interview days
    • Post job descriptions on ABB career site, at target universities and various early talent platforms
    • Manage all administrative tasks such as updating recruitment databases, hiring profiles, and applicant documentation
    • Facilitate hiring process and onboarding tasks until complete in ABB systems
    • Monitor the effectiveness of all recruiting efforts, with specific attention paid to continued flow of candidates through the recruiting pipeline. Oversee team and candidate metrics, including reporting data to managers
    Your background
    • A Bachelor's degree in human resources, communications or similar and minimum of 4 years experience in HR, recruitment or early talent
    • Sound understanding of the university recruitment process and university databases
    • Experience in full lifecycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, negotiations/closing and candidate relationship management
    • Good understanding of Applicant Tracking Systems such as Workday, eRecruit, Phenom and university systems such as Handshake, RippleMatch, CareerFair plus, etc
    • Ability to build strong, productive relationships with hiring managers
    • Excellent marketing and advertising abilities
    • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, integrity and personal accountability
    • Able to handle confidential information discreetly.
    • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, continually evolving environment using proven time management skills and working with a strong sense of urgency
    • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Experience with designing and conducting interviews
    • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
