    As a member of the Assisting Hands family, responsibilities for assisting our clients may include:

    Activities of daily living- bathing, grooming, dressingLight housekeeping- assist with laundry, and various household tasksPreparing mealsMedication RemindersErrands/Providing transportation CompanionshipAll caregivers receive a W-2.

    Liability insurance and payroll taxes are covered by the Assisting Hands Home CareApplicants should possess the following certifications (guidance and resources are provided, as needed): Level 2 Background ScreeningCPR/BLS Certificate HIV/AIDS Training CertificateAlzheimer's Dementia and Related Disease Training CertificateAssistance with Self-Administration of Medication Training CertificateReliable TransportationIf you are interested in joining our team, we would love to hear from you.

    Compensation:
    $ $16.00 per hour Assisting Hands Home Care prides itself on offering compassionate, dependable home care to their clients across the US. Their unparalleled reputation of quality home care covers a broad spectrum of services ranging from aging care for the elderly, post-surgery care, transitional care from a hospital or rehab, to post maternity care for those mothers who need care after the birth of their child.

    According to the company's Vice President, Gail Stout, Assisting Hands Home Care believes that the caregivers are the face of the company.

    "We look for the three most important qualities in our caregivers which is professionalism, empathy, and strong communication skills." Additionally, the agencies do a comprehensive background screening, training and verification of skill competency.

    "Each AHHC agency has a robust pool of caregivers but we are always looking to hire additional caregivers that meet our guidelines and criteria for caring for our clients," Gail said.
